You are the air I breathe! Your very presence causes the mountains to be cast into the sea, the oceans to rise and fall, the stars to brighten with the Light of Your Word! We are Your children and we seek You and You alone. We are starved for Your presence. Let our worship proclaim the wonders of Your love, the depths of Your grace, and the undying devotion You show us. When I am weak, You are strong. I surrender to Your mercy.
A GloryInvasion
There is a difference between just speaking words flippantly as opposed to making prophetic declarations. When you are in an atmosphere of God’s glory, you are in a position to understand how He has created something out of nothing. In Hebrews 11:3 the Lord explains the moving of His glory upon nothingness; “By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.” The Christian world needs to begin to walk in this understanding once again as in the days of Paul. We have allowed our lack of faith and the knowledge of science to cloud our judgment about spiritual abilities and opportunities in God’s Spirit.
I recently visited a church where the pastor was explaining that two of their members had developed terminal illnesses and we needed to accept their fate. He was determined to bring his congregation into understanding that God’s will allows us to be subjected to the terminal illnesses of the world. He actually spoke their fate into a state of despair. Should hopelessness be a motive for our understanding of the God we serve? Should not a glory invasion of the Holy Spirit be what dictates our motive in praying, interceding, and taking our God-given authority over these terminal illnesses? I could not help but believe that the lack of faith on the part of the leadership in this church find it easier to explain away the illnesses of a fallen world accepting our fate to have to succumb to the evil of the sickness rather than holding prayer meetings and interceding on behalf of these saints expecting God to heal them completely. When it comes to these types of illnesses has the church settled in accepting that we have lost the authority given to us to overcome and expect God to move miraculously? Are we not desiring the return of the A.A. Allen, Oral Roberts, and Kathryn Kuhlman ministries?
He is the Creator of all things! He spoke all things into existence from nothing. We must seek His glory invasion. We must intercede and wait upon His intervention. We must wait for His glory to come and then speak out what He is saying and the same things will follow. He sends His Spirit to move over us, creating an atmosphere conducive to creative miracles. Without the indwelling power of His Spirit upon our situation nothing can be created, healed, or established. He is our Creator, our Healer, and our Lord.
A glory invasion requires that we pray expecting! We must pray with power, believing His Word, and without doubt declare that His presence will change the atmosphere of death to life, sickness to health, and nothing into something. A glory invasion brings a declaration of expectation! Through His glory the Spirit establishes who we are in Him. His presence removes all doubt. It puts the flesh in a state of submission and causes demonic forces to flee from their dominion over the fallen world.
Worship releases God’s Energy
In worship, the presence of God’s glory releases an energy of supernatural magnitude that provides the potential for miraculous events. His energy is present even if it cannot be seen or witnessed. He is not an emotion to be felt rather He is the absolute force in the universe that reveals the power of the God we serve. He is the ever-present Creator of it All. He is not an emotion that only those who are sensitive to Him can feel. His presence, His power, His Spirit, and His Glory are a capacity for works—just like electricity and sound waves that you cannot see but know they still exist.
The sound of worship confirms the Genesis account.
In Luke 19:40, Jesus said, “the very stones will cry out.” The sound of His voice was the main ingredient in the base composition of creation; GOD SPOKE! Through Christ, God spoke it all into existence; “For by Him (Jesus Christ) all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him” Colossians 2:16. This knowledge of His voice is a critical factor in creating an atmosphere of worshipful sound in our services.
The Glory Zone
In Dr. David Herzog’s book, “Glory Invasion,” he states a profound meaning to Psalm 148. “…God commands the sun, moon, and stars to praise Him, He even commands mountains and hills to praise Him. Only an intelligent God who knows His creation intimately can command seemingly inanimate objects to respond in worship to Him.” Dr. Herzog is proclaiming a spiritual truth that all creation has the ability to hear, listen, obey, respond, and worship the Creator. He continues with this enlightenment, “Jesus commanded the fig tree to die after not producing fruit and the tree obeyed Him. Every living thing can and does respond” to His voice.
It is in this moment during our worship when His glory fills the temple that we need to seize the moment. We must put aside our agendas, our programs, and our need to be expedient (time restraints kill God’s anointing). We often settle for less and call it more! There are many times when the Lord is about to move in our midst, the prophets proclaiming it, the worship team sensing it, yet the leadership presses on in their agendas. They settle for less and call it more! You often hear, “Great worship!” “Wasn’t that a great time of worship?!” “Praise God for the worship team!” The prophets knew there was more if we had only waited and pressed in. Let’s continue to pray for revival yet we show a disdain toward doing what is necessary to move the heart of God. Many times, we cry in our worship, “Lord, we are waiting on you!” His answer is always the same, “My children, I am waiting for you.” We hate formalized religion yet we have ourselves at times in our services created our own.
The Glory Zone means breaking with traditions, stretching ourselves beyond our comfort zones, and stepping out into His Greatness.
When the presence of the Lord enters your worship, it ushers in His anointing. The Anointed One (Jesus) brings His throne (authority) in the midst of our praise. When His throne enters in His glory precedes Him and heaven is present among us. In heaven there is no sickness, there is no sin, there is no depression, there is only fullness of joy.
“…with all power and signs and false wonders” 2 Thessalonians 2:9.
In 1987 there was a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Pentecostal church. The Toronto blessing had sprung up in a great many churches throughout the United States and Canada. This revival was followed with many miraculous signs and wonders. People were being healed from all kinds of ailments, healed from broken limbs, healed from cancerous tumors and heart disease. One of the prominent outpouring of these meetings was the phenomenon called “the Laughing Spirit.”
This action was evidenced in people in services while being slain in the Spirit [where healing took place without the laying on of hands] and laughter arising in the persons being healed or having participated in the services. This phenomenon would last for several hours. Many testimonies of God having touched people came from these services. Crutches, wheelchairs, leg braces, casts, and the like were torn off and the person walked away healed. But in the midst of this great and glorious move of God there was an increased attendance in witches bringing false signs and wonders promoting ‘New Age’ philosophies in the name of Christ.
I ministered in a church in Bristol, CT during this time and witnessed these witches’ invitations firsthand. As the service began, many attendees were gathered at the altar for prayer. People were getting healed. Suddenly a woman fell to her knees and began to meow like a cat. She started to rub her body [like cats do] on the legs of a woman next to her. She moved in and out about the legs of the woman in a sensuous like motion. As I looked to the pastor and church leadership to halt this woman’s actions, they informed me that this was all a part of the service and had happened many times before. They believed it to be of God! I literally leaped from the staging area and rebuked this woman’s deception. She was OUT OF ORDER scripturally and prophetically! I had to obey the Spirit of God as a prophet no matter the consequences to follow. It was later discovered that this woman was a practicing witch and hiding among the Pentecost movement of God in order to deceive and destroy any move of the Spirit.
Most recently, I read of a church in Atlanta, GA [Charisma Magazine, 7/2019] putting a professed witch on their pastoral staff in order to give them psychic readings and guide their congregants into a deeper spiritual life. Many churches are following suit and allowing a witchcraft spirit to enter their houses. This door has been opened because our church leaders have not come to terms with Gal. 5:17, “For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit [Holy Spirit], and the Spirit [Holy Spirit] against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another…”. We have tolerated sinful activity in our members in the name of God’s love. This alone is an affront to the righteousness of the Lord. True Godly love leads the sinner to repentance and redemption through the cross of Christ. There can be no other way. The more we entertain the world the more the devil will spread lies and deception.
I am telling you this prophetically. The Lord has instructed me to make you aware that revival is coming to many of your churches in the next days, weeks, and months. Be aware that when the Spirit of God releases it in your house the witches in your region are also coming. They are there to create false signs and wonders, to lead your people astray by thinking they have witnessed a move of God when all they really have seen was “theactivity of Satan”
2 Thessalonians 2:9. I am encouraging you to keep the breakout of revival in your church to a scripturally based event and a prophetically sound teaching. Be on the alert for those who would want to see God mocked in the midst of these events whether knowingly or unknowingly. In doing so, you will have maintained an attitude of righteousness and holiness. Guard the anointing God has placed in you!
Saints, God has promised blessings on your life because, unlike the others you have not known ‘the activity of Satan.’ You have stood fast to your faith and your calling. You are over-comers; “And he who overcomes, and keeps My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations…He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the Churches” Revelation 2:26 & 29.
Watch the signs and be cautious of the times. We are in an age of a witch’s invitation! Guard the anointing upon your church and your lives.Follow after Him. Do not allow yourself to fall into this deception as are many other churches. YOU ARE CALLED!
In God calling you, know who you are:
God sets the foundational cornerstone of prophetic truth in your life.
God wants you to Understand your anointing.
God creates defining moments when we step into His greatness.
Always in Him,
Dr. Steve Rocco, D.D.
“Every aspect of your Christian walk is motivated by the Prophetic Word of the Living God.”
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” Ephesians 1:3.
We are a supernatural people! The Apostle Peter describes us as ‘Living Stones.’ “…You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” [1 Peter 2:5]. In every epistle written in the Bible the Apostles describe the church in spiritual terms. They speak to the church through spiritual eyes and render an understanding of what it is to have a spiritual walk. Even as Christ walked the earth as full man, He was always fully God. His appearance was in the natural but His true self had greater implications. He was a king not of this world.
There are two dimensions to the existence of man; one is of the flesh which is dead to our trespasses and the other is the spirit of man come alive because of the work of the cross and the sealed promise of the Holy Spirit. As Christians, our calling is in the spirit world. A world of supernatural elements and dimensions. The Apostle Paul goes into detail in Romans 6, 7, and 8 about our dual nature. The catalyst of these two dimensions is the presence of free will. God leaves it to us where we choose to dwell. The writer of Hebrews calls it the difference between Mt. Sinai and Mt. Zion. The Apostle Peter explains it this way: “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in your behavior, because it is written, “You shall be Holy, for I AM Holy” [1 Peter 1:14-16].
The Apostle’s explanation of being holy is a decision. Therefore, we must come to know that our walking in the realm of the supernatural is a decision. How is the supernatural among us today and not ONLY in the kingdom to come [End Times]?
We walk in heavenly places-In Ephesians 2:6 Paul proclaims truth of our life: “When we were dead in our transgressions, [he] made us alive together in Christ [by grace you have been saved], and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” This is a heaven/earth connection. Our eternal life began in the life of Christ. In knowing this, it is our place to walk as a supernatural people.
The Prophetic Ministry draws us in-In Deuteronomy 18:18 the Lord spoke to Moses about how He would speak to His people: “I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.” The Lord speaks to us in supernatural terms, and He does it through His prophets. The Holy Spirit of all creation falls upon the prophet and brings a word from the Father that is filled with anointing and glory stemming from the throne of Christ. Supernatural power!
We have Legal Authority-The cross of Jesus Christ, the sacrifice of the Lamb of God, the empty tomb, and the sealing of the covenant promise by the Holy Spirit have given us the right to enter into the Promised Land. This is a supernatural event and gives us an eternal inheritance. “…He gave [us] the right to become sons of God, to those who believe in His name…” [John 1:12]. Being a child of the king gives you rights that cannot be taken from you. We were exiled from God because of Adam but we are now restored because of Christ.
Eternal Eyesight-God has given us the ability to be seers in the realm of the supernatural. Our insight is founded in prayer and supplication. It builds upon the foundation of spiritual gifts offered to us in 1 Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4:11. Supernatural eyesight is the function of the prophetic office, but insight is given to all believers stemming from an unction in the Spirit. This aspect of the kingdom of God is given to the church because it binds us to the fulfillment of the Abrahamic covenant [God is birthing descendants of Abraham] and establishes the Everlasting covenant through Christ Jesus Our Lord.
We have a Divine Partnership-In Galatians 2:20 the Apostle Paul tells us that we have been crucified with Christ, and we no longer live. It is Jesus who lives in us. In knowing this, it makes us partners with Christ in a greater purpose and greater glory. As He lives and moves so we live and move. Our life has become a place of divine ordination, and no one can take it from us. “And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise” [Gal. 3:19].
It is important as Christians that we come to understand that we “struggle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” [Ephesians 6:12]. The following is a message the Lord gave to me prophetically about the state of America. It has been confirmed by other prophets and is a message of warning to the church.
The Changing of America
“He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it” Revelation 2:17.
The scripture above gives us a vivid picture of things to take place and are taking place in the End Times. In the opening of this verse, the Apostle John prophesies to overcomers. All throughout the Scriptures we are told that as Christians we are overcomers [Romans 8:35-39]. To describe Christians as overcomers is not so much saying that we have been faithful unto the end, although this is true, but rather it is an indication that any temptation we have resisted on a daily basis has made us an overcomer. It confirms we are no longer a slave to sin [Romans 6:6]. The life of an overcomer is a life that has changed its nature. It once walked in the flesh, a life of sinfulness and disobedience to God, but now the life has become born-again. The life of Christ has entered into the believer’s existence and given them a new way to conquer the very things that caused them to stumble in the past. They have become a new creature. The old way in them has died at the cross through the work of Christ and the new has come, the life of Christ in them. Therefore, in explaining the meaning of Revelation 2:17 concerning “him who overcomes,” it tells us those who are born-again into the new life of Christ are the overcomers described in the passage. As we continue to read the passage, we discover that the overcomers are given “the hidden manna.”
The Hidden Manna.
In explaining this passage [Revelation 2:17], the hidden manna that is mentioned becomes a significant part of the believer’s revelation of the life within them. What is this hidden manna? We know from the scriptures that the manna God gave to the Israelites in the wilderness had everything to do with provision and sustenance. The manna described in Revelation 2:17 speaks to provision however in terms of our spiritual life, the manna is the anointing of God’s gifts within us. This is a prophetic utterance, and it gives meaning to the revelation of the Lord in our lives. Prophetic revelation is never meant to stay hidden. The scripture tells us that it is hidden manna, and this is an indication of the gifting God has given in this manna is known to the one who receives it. However, the Lord imparts these gifts of manna to us for the work of the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are never to hold that gifting or anointing within but rather we are to impart it to the body. Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:11, “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.” The gifting of the five-fold ministry that is the spiritual manna given to the body of Christ is to be revealed to the church and not to be hidden. It may be known to the receiver, but the receiver’s responsibility is to bring forth the revelation given to them in this manna. The manna we are discussing in Revelation 2:17 is of a spiritual nature. It manifests in the offices of the five-fold ministry [Ephesians 4:11]. The hidden manna is Jesus Christ who grants us all gifts through the Holy Spirit for the working of the Gospel message.
A White Stone
In the Scriptures a white stone is a symbol of innocence and acquittal. It is used to represent a person standing in agreement with an issue. In Revelation 2:17, Jesus promises a white stone to the believers who overcome, which represents the love of Christ. The new name written in the stone represents Jesus giving a new name to each who overcomes and receives a heavenly anointing. Every overcomer has a personal relationship with the Lord. So what is the significance of the “white stone” that Jesus promised?
In the time of the Romans and Greeks “white stones” were used as symbols of innocence or guilt [White stones for innocence and black stones for guilt]. In the original text of Revelation 2:17, the wording in the phrase “white stone” is ordered differently in the Greek. The wording actually reads “psiephon leuken.” The psiephon refers to a stone or pebble, and leuken means white. A “white stone” should be literally translated, “A stone, a white one.” This lays a particular emphasis on the color of the stone; “You are judged innocent!”
When a Roman trial concluded and a panel of judges had to vote on the defendant’s guilt or innocence, the judges registered their votes by casting a black or white stone into an urn. A black stone symbolized a vote for guilt and a white stone for innocence. When all the votes had been cast, the stones were emptied from the urn and counted one by one. If there were more black stones it meant the judges had found the defendant guilty, if there were more white stones it meant they found the defendant not guilty. This type of judgment was used in the days of the Apostle John, and it makes complete sense that the symbolism the Lord would give to him in Revelation 2:17 is the innocence of the believer by giving them a white stone. The Lord’s judgment proclaims, “I have reviewed all the evidence, and I have judged you not guilty!” The message to the church [overcomers] regardless of who they were or of what they had become before they came to Christ is that they are rendered innocent because of the cross of Christ and their acceptance of a born-again life placing Jesus as Lord. Jesus cast a “white stone” in their favor.
When the devil—or any person—tries to throw a stone of judgment against you by mentally tormenting you about past actions we’ve already been forgiven. Knowing this, we can boldly answer, “Christ has already cast His vote, and He has judged me NOT GUILTY!” Any sinful actions we have committed in the past, present, and future have been washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ at the cross.
“How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God [the glorified Lamb], cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:14.
In Revelation 2:17 when Christ promises “a stone, a white one” to the believers who overcame, He was announcing freedom, forgiveness, and acquittal from our sins and He was proclaiming to the Father that His vote is for you. The white stone declares that Christ has found you not guilty and that He has placed His full support in your life. He is for us! “What shall we say then to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?” Romans 8:31.
The Hebrew name for the white stone is “Yahalom.” It is symbolically represented as an overcomer. Literally meaning to gain entrance. The High Priest of Israel wore this stone on his tunic when entering the Holy of Holies without it he would have died in the presence of the Ark. The white stone gained him entrance without the fear of death. Not only does the white stone proclaim our innocence but it also allows us entrance into the Most Holy Place and before the presence of the Father.
In Joshua 4:3 twelve stones are placed in the Jordan River as a memorial of where Israel had been [the wilderness] and where God is bringing them [The Promised Land]. The wilderness represents our sinfulness, the Jordan River is the cross of our salvation, and the Promised Land is our new life. The stones are placed there to remind us of how we gained entrance.
A New Name
“A new name is written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it” Revelation 2:17. The latter part of this verse tells us no one knows who receives the new name except those who it is given to. Our salvation is known by our hearts and unless we have confessed it to others and proclaimed the mystery of so great a revelation, no one will know of our salvation except us who it has been given to. We are to proclaim it! This is what the purpose of revelation is. We must never keep prophetic revelation to ourselves. It is meant to be revealed and shared.
When given a new life and doing away with the old, the Lord gives us a new name. Sarai and Abram [Genesis 17:5, 15] when given a new life were now known as Sarah and Abraham. God added His name to them. His breath, the YAH, of who He is was placed upon them. Their aged bodies, 80 and 100 respectively, were now ministering in the bodies of twenty-year-olds. The result birthed Isaac, God’s original intention to supernaturally intervene in the formation of Israel and His people. They were to be God’s creation and intent established from the Everlasting Covenant without any human interference.
Jacob, Abraham’s grandchild and son of Isaac, became Israel [Genesis 32:28]. Jacob known as Israel has through his line passed his name to Jesus [Matthew 2:15]. Jesus is called Israel.
Simon is now called Peter [Mark 3:16]. Peter is known to Christ as the rock [Petra; little stone] because he proclaimed Jesus as the Christ.
Saul becomes Paul [Acts 13:9]. Paul’s name is defined as humility in its meaning. He is the lesser by his own choice. He was determined to live all for Christ giving no recognition to himself.
In every instance of the name changes of these hallowed saints, there was an assignment given and a ministry ensued. It should be understood that when we became believers and overcomers, God not only gave us a new name that is wrapped in the life of Jesus Christ but an assignment in the kingdom was commanded [Matthew 28:19-20] to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the nations making disciples of them. We are disciple makers!
By giving you a new name the Lord is responding to prophetic revelation, and He expects us to speak out the revelation that He has placed in us.
“To them I will give in My house and within My walls a memorial, and a new name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an Everlasting name which will not be cut off” Isaiah 56:6.
When the Lord imparts given revelation into our lives it is essential especially from a prophetic point of view to release that revelation into the atmosphere. In other words, make the proclamation to the church of the importance of the spiritual anointing that God has released into your life. We must step into our calling and speak out the revelation. The true calling of a prophet is to release the word that God has given to them under the unction of His Holy Spirit.
In 2013, the Prophet Kim Clement received a word from the Lord about the Kennedy family in America. It was concerning America’s spiritual future, and the effect the Kennedy’s would have on the outcome. Just recently [August 2024, some 10+ years after Clement’s word] Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. made a pronouncement about the need for America to get back to God. He spoke about the 2024 Presidential election cycle having everything to do with the nation turning to God’s righteousness. Prophet Clement spoke the hidden manna given to him by the Lord concerning the Kennedy family. We have witnessed it coming to pass. This is a confirmation of the importance of releasing prophetic revelation to the church.
The election of 2024 is not about Democrats or Republicans. It is about the church of Jesus Christ. It is not about the White House or politicians. It is about the church. We are in a battle just as Elijah was against the forces the god Ba’al. Evil spirits that Lucifer [now Satan] has assigned over America are seeking agreement. Evil is on a mission to change the name
of America and to change the name of Israel. These evil spirits are seeking to establish the god Ba’al to reign explicitly over Israel and America. It was no different in the days of Elijah when Jezebel set out to convert all of Israel to Baalism across the nation [1 Kings 18]. Ba’al means the master possessor who is seeking to control all things. It wants to control the church and to control you.
2-Two Opinions—Ba’al v. YHWH
At Mt. Carmel in 1 Kings 17, Elijah battles the false prophets of Baal. There were two distinct opinions at this place, and they were in complete opposition to one another. Queen Jezebel was a princess, and her father was King over Pia and Cyan which worshipped the god of the Asherah pole called Ba’al. The agreement for marriage with Ahab was to allow her to bring her god worship into Israel. Not only did she want to bring the false god Ba’al into Israel, but she was also set on making that god the only worship in Israel and her intention was to destroy the worship of YHWH and the Jewish temple rites replacing them with Ba’al.
On the other hand, Prophet Elijah was chosen by God to bring righteousness and His authority throughout the nation. This brought Elijah into direct opposition to the false prophets of Ba’al and Jezebel directly. In the nation began a conflict of two souls: Ba’al worship on the one hand and YHWH worship on the other. These two opinions are no different than the Christian who battles the desires and sinfulness of their flesh while seeking to bring the righteousness and authority of the Spirit in their lives. The flesh wants to control the spirit just as Jezebel wanted to control YHWH worship and ultimately eliminating YHWH completely from Israel. That is the battle!
Our soul/spirit seeks to find agreement. We clamor for like opinions. In both good and evil the task of finding agreement becomes a main ingredient in determining our destinies. At the Tower of Babel [Genesis 11] the evil desires of men sought to build a giant tower to the heavens. Their agreement gave them the motivation to complete this task even though it had angered God. In the battle of our minds, the flesh gives in to temptation and decides to walk in a manner unworthy of the cross of Christ. The devils of hell tempt us in our minds [the battlefield of sin or righteousness] and there our decision is made to either follow the temptation and give in or to resist the temptation calling on the name of Christ to overcome it and lead us into righteousness. These spirits are seeking agreement with our fleshly desires in order to engage in sin. The Holy Spirit gives the power to overcome the flesh and to walk in the Spirit leading to righteousness and in doing so glorifying the name of the Lord.
At Mount Carmel, the Israelites had a choice. Either to follow the false prophets of Ba’al thereby pleasing Jezebel or to turn back to the Law and make sacrifice to the God of Israel and receive the Lord’s blessing. The actions of Elijah at Mt. Carmel convinced the people of Israel that Jehovah is God and the false prophets of Ba’al were moving them into a life of sinfulness, degradation, and unrighteousness. The peoples’ choice to follow Jehovah caused the death of the false prophets, the end of Baal worship, and the end of human sacrifice at the altar of Molech. The end result was the death of those false prophets and revival coming forth in Israel because the people had repented and turned back to God.
3-The Soul of the Church
Just as the Triune God is likeminded in all things, so must the church be likeminded through the power of the Holy Spirit in Christ. When the church seeks its own way and ignores the unity that God calls us to by obedience to His Word, the church will garner many different opinions, the opinions of men, and begin to build its foundation on this false narrative. The disunity that is displayed in the Christian church today causes, at times, an ineffective Gospel. We are fighting each other on doctrine rather than agreeing to preach the gospel for the salvation of souls.
This disunity allows the like mindedness of evil demonic influences to bring deceptive practices into the house of God. This evil is seeking to have control over the church. In March 2020, the world was hit with an international pandemic. In the United States the pastors of our churches caved to political pressure in the name of science and many churches were shut down and never re-opened their doors. The pastors folded to government pressure. This was an all-out evil attack of the enemy against the people of God. As Jezebel set out to do in Israel with Baal worship, the spirit of Jezebel was set to take control over the churches in the nation. There is like mindedness in the realm of the principalities and powers of evil to have soulish control over America. It is a Python and Jezebel spirit trying to strangle America. It wants to change the power of the Constitution by using WOKE Culture, the Educational System, our family dynamic [mothers and fathers no longer the authority over children], and genderism. They want boys to be girls and girls to be boys by deceiving their minds and permanently damaging their God-given gender and identity. They are forcing Americans to give in to these type of deviancies through the passage of law and the courts to uphold it. The strategy of the demonic powers is to shame Americans into believing we are judgmental, unloving, and scripturally wrong by the use of science in order to accept these demonic precepts.
The Python spirit strangles the Christian doctrines and beliefs that are protected in the U.S. Constitution causing a change to the heart of the beliefs set forth by our founding fathers. The spirit Jezebel means non-cohabitant without obligation. She is a fantasy space—a lifestyle. Jezebel was the daughter of the king of Pia and Cyan. Their native god was Ba’al. This worship was derived from the goddess Asherah, which tried to rule over Israel for many generations in order to nullify YHWH worship. When Jezebel arrived in Israel as Ahab’s bride, she brought 450 false prophets with her, and they placed their temples in every city that Elijah had established a school of prophets. Jezebel demanded equal rights and access to the altars set up for YHWH. Her intention was to root out YHWH worship, the temple, and the priesthood and replace it with the false worship of Ba’al. She wanted the devil in charge. Lucifer, now Satan, never stops trying to fulfill Isaiah 14 and raise his throne above God’s. But he is a defeated foe established at the cross of Christ [John 19:30].
When the church gives in to unrighteousness and allows any outside influence to determine its authority, power, and manifest destiny then the door is open for the spirits of Python and Jezebel to run in. This is the present state of America in 2024. God is calling us to take our rightful place in America and be the voice He intended us to be; a pillar of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
4-The God of America is Jesus Christ
Our nation was founded on this belief in the 1600’s. The following founding fathers and many others were of the opinion of the following statements written by John Adams and Patrick Henry.
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”—John Adams [John Adams, Charles Francis Adams (1854). “Works: with a life of the author”, p.229].
“It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians, not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”—Patrick Henry
I cannot emphasize it enough! “…this great nation was founded…on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”—Patrick Henry. This is a teaching of historical fact that the Socialist Marxist’s who govern our school systems and who influence our politicians with money and votes will never allow our children to be taught this fact! Our complacency on their [our children] education has allowed these truths to be covered up and indeed removed from the history books of American education. The strategic move of Jezebel is to instruct the Python spirit to twist itself around the truth of America’s history and choke the life out it. Then she replaces it with the Ba’al worship now known as Marxism. She wants equality with Jesus Christ as Lord over America. It is a battle replayed once again like that at Mt. Carmel [1 Kings 18]. The Ba’al v. Christ battle is taking place in America as I write this. It is transcending generations since our founding fathers and will not cease until the church takes its rightful place in our society. Our Christian beliefs MUST be at the forefront of all things American from politics, government, and our society. We cannot be complacent in this process but rather we must be as diligent in the struggle for Jesus as the Marxists are for the god of Ba’al.
The Presidential election of 2024 in America is not so much about who is in the White House or who controls the government as it is about the forces of Ba’al seeking power to change America against the gospel of Jesus Christ to preach and save souls for His kingdom. The church must remove its slothfulness and be the overcomers [conquerors] that God has intended us to be. Jezebel, as she did in Israel, is seeking to augment an absolute monarchy to eliminate Jesus Christ from our American fabric and history.
Israel’s role
The spirit of Python and Jezebel have engaged in a two-fold battle front; the inner attack on American society for the purpose of a change toward Marxist ideals [anti-Christ] and the outward attack on Israel, from the river to the sea, with the intent to accomplish its complete annihilation. Win America, defeat Israel. Win America, crush YHWH worship. Are not the American people standing between Israel and the world? Our strength is allowing Israel to represent a Republic democracy to the Middle East. The Christian support of the nation of Israel, the scripture tells us so: “This is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.” [Romans 11:27]. The church stands in this covenant with the nation of Israel as described by the Apostle Paul in Galatians 3:29, “And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.” If the Marxists in this 2024 election succeed in winning the White House, then Israel will stand alone in the world [“…and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud covers the land.” Ezekiel 38:16 & “It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel, declares the Lord God…” v. 18].
The Lord prophecies in Ezekiel 39 that Israel will be restored after those days of terrible war however there is no scripture or prophecy that declares a new rising of America after the Marxists run its Republic into a communist regime. The Marxists will take over the philosophies of our schools, they will change the American family as we know it, they will declare atheism [anti-Christ spirit] the new religion and the government will be our god. They will close the Christian churches and force us to worship in secret places and the birth of an underground church will come forth much like that of China, Russia, Indonesia, and Laos. Be aware saints, this election has consequences!
A Prophetic Warning
Many Christians will believe the lies of the political Left in this election year because their spiritual eyes are not open, and they are deceived. God will allow this deception to remain on those who have already hardened their hearts to righteousness and morality should they not repent from the evil that has become the rhetoric of the Marxist Left in this country.
When Christians who have been deceived and refuse to walk in Christlikeness vote for the politicians who are touting Leftist views, they are in actuality voting to kill babies [the unborn], to accept transgenderism and sex changes, transgender boys in their daughters and granddaughters bathrooms and gym locker rooms, the promotion of LBGTQ+ ideals of immorality and unrighteousness, the advancement of Marxist WOKE culture ideals placed upon their children in our educational system, and the weakening of our military by pushing these changes rather than being trained to stand battle tested warzones. When the saluting of our military personnel to a man in a dress becomes more important than the discipline required to walk a military life, we have reached the beginning of the end of our nation. The Christians who believe the Left to be of God and say they have heard from the Lord to do this then they see that the deception has taken root. “For I the Lord, am not a purveyor of unrighteousness and immorality! I will smite the partakers and the nation who walk and talk falsely in My name. I will give this generation over to its decadence and I will pass by this generation as I did the Israelites of old who never saw the Promised Land once having left Egypt. As for those who believe I will interfere with their free will and choice for righteousness or unrighteousness, I say this, “Remember Israel. The choices they made to choose disobedience rather than the covenant of the Law opened the way for the Babylonians, and again after 70 years of captivity they chose disobedience in defiance to the Law and the Egyptians enslaved them once again, and a third time their disobedience brought the Assyrians upon them. Their history of disobedience brought the Medo-Persians, the Greeks, and the Romans to their doorstep enslaving them for many generations. So it will be with America if the church chooses unrighteousness.”
5-The Five-fold Ministry Must Act
In 1 Kings 18, Elijah took an adversarial position when it came to the false prophets of Ba’al. Elijah mocked them saying “where is your god?” We, the church, must mock the Jezebel/Python spirits. We must go on the offense because we have the TRUTH! The Gospel message is the only way to salvation. We are entering into a time of the great harvest; we must not be silent. We must in the prophetic and apostolic ministries mock WOKE culture, MOCK gender ideology, MOCK anti-Christian education and culture, MOCK the ideas and teaching that America is no longer a Christian nation. We are allowing our politicians to give in to the Marxist changes to our history by tearing down our statues and removing Columbus statues, Robert E. Lee statues and others from our town squares forgetting that Columbus planted the Christian flag on the shores of the Dominican Republic claiming the land for Jesus Christ. We have forgotten the deep faith that Robert E. Lee had in Christ. Is this a promotion of slavery? Absolutely not! It is speaking to the heart of these men to love God even though they were missing the true intent of God to bring freedom and liberty into the lives of all men through Christ. I ask you, if you vote for the Marxist Left in this election does that mean you do not love the Lord and call Christ your Savior? Of course not, but it does show that you are intent on your own purpose and agenda and not the Lord’s desire for righteousness in His American church.
There is prophecy coming forth even now from America, from Canada, from the UK, from France, and from the underground churches of China and Russia. These prophecies will break the Ba’al spirit. The Elijah anointing will re-build the altars of our forefather Jacob, and the former years will move the heart of God. We will dose water on the offering of the Jacob altar and as did Elijah call down the fires of the Holy Spirit from the throne of God. There is no doubt after the prophetic time of mocking these false gods and philosophies the fire will fall from heaven to prove God is God. It will be a time of great harvest. There will be the greatest evangelical movement and revival as this nation has never seen, not even in the days of the Great Awakening in New England. The church will reap a harvest in these latter days.
When studying destiny partnerships that encompass a covenant relationship, I am drawn to David and Jonathan. In 1 Samuel 20:15-16, “You shall not cut off your lovingkindness from my house forever, not even when the Lord cuts off every one of the enemies of David from the face of the earth. So Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, “May the Lord require it at the hands of David’s enemies.”
The Eagle and the Ox. Earlier we read of Jonathan’s commitment to David in 1 Samuel 18:1 & 3, “…the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as himself. Then Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself.” This is an Ox and Eagle anointing. The ox accesses the might of the Lord in all its character, unction’s, and dispositions. The Eagle is a predator with sight. As the Eagle flies above seeing for miles the condition of the landscape, it uses the might of the ox who is yoked to till the soil and churn up fallow ground causing unwanted vermin who have burrowed in the land which is being tilled for planting to be sown and reap a harvest, to rise to the surface seeking refuge from the tilled soil. The eagle then swoops down to feed on the vermin and clear the field of any unwanted predators who would steal the harvest. The eagle preying upon the rodents in the field who have been unearthed by the ox tilling the ground assure the Sower of a good harvest.
Jonathan’s covenant promise to David is as the eagle/ox relationship. Each has purpose and each are committed to their work in assuring one other’s success. God gives us opportunities to have these type of covenant relationships with one another. It is not always that we take full advantage of such a blessing. Most Christians today are satisfied with the fellowship of familiar friends that never enter into heaven/earth connections with the greater things of God. Why familiar? Because they are comfortable in the presence of these friends and are never challenged to operate in a place of ministry that may require stepping outside their comfort zone. I am reminded of the Apostles Peter and John and their relationship during the years they walked with Christ. After the Ascencion of Jesus Peter was called to Rome and John ministered in Asia Minor. Being close friends in the calling of Christ they were nonetheless given very different fields of ministry. Too many Christians today would rather stay in the proximity of their ministry friends and not consider that the Holy Spirit may be commanding them to venture into new fields to toil, sow, and harvest. When this happens, we can never reach the full potential of God’s calling on our lives, the gifts will be inhibited, and our spiritual insight could be tainted without actually seeing into the deeper things of God.
The Apostolic and the Prophetic partnership. When we are involved in an apostolic ministry and there is no presence of a prophetic office the ministry will manifest an abundance of labor filled with friction- a deficiency of oil exists. The prophetic revelation in an apostolic ministry brings the oil of anointing creating a well-oiled mechanism of vision. If there is a prophetic office only and an absence of the Apostolic it leaves the ministry with a vivid blueprint creating unstable people in the work that God has assigned to the ministry. The Lord purposely sets Apostolic and Prophetic destiny partnerships giving birth to a great evangelical work and abundant harvest. An activation of believers with a ministry of miracles, signs, and wonders follows this destiny partnering.
Presently, too many Christians are attached to either an Apostle or a prophet. Some are just sitting in an office of evangelist and teacher leadership. There is no sign of an apostolic/prophetic anointing because the pastor has accepted theological teaching that the office of Apostle and Prophet no longer exists. This is a false teaching! The Scripture is clear on the roles of the five-fold ministry and its work in the field of ministry [Eph. 4:11].
The Apostolic mantle and the Prophetic Office. The Apostle’s office brings a clear vision critical in fulfilling God’s direction and perfect will. A mentoring, a sending out, and raising up of ministerial attributes all follow the Apostolic office. It is a patriarchal anointing that fulfills the Matthew 28:19 commandment of preaching, baptizing, and sending forth into the nations. Prophets boldly speak the vision and impart anointing. They clarify given heaven-sent assignments and purposes for their assigned spiritual territory. When there is clear prophetic insight and direction the momentum is unstoppable. Prophetic insight is an invaluable tool to emerging apostles and established apostles.
The purpose of the enemy. The enemy hates apostolic and prophetic destiny partnerships. The covenant made between these offices is an unbreakable bond that promotes the kingdom of Heaven on earth and stirs the atmosphere in the Kingdom of God to build greatness in God’s kingdom. The enemy raises up a witchcraft spirit to divide apostles and prophets because of their different perspectives about the kingdom. Even though the offices of apostle and prophet have different roles their goals are the same; lift up the name of Jesus and draw all men unto Him.
Destiny Partners in the kingdom of God. Destiny partners make the difference in reaching your maximum potential in the life of Christ and His work assigned to you. Ask God to place you in the realm of destiny partnerships leaving familiar friendships behind in order that the will of God for your life may reach its fullest potential. Outgrowing relationships is a common thing in God’s kingdom. Do not get settled into mediocrity. Be a sojourner for God’s kingdom with destiny partners at your side in the work of the ministry.
Ephesians 1:3: “Blessed be the God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the Heavenly places in Christ.”
There are two dimensions to the existence of man; one is of the flesh which is dead to our trespasses and the other is the spirit of man come alive because of the work of the cross and the sealed promise of the Holy Spirit.
The Apostle’s explanation of being holy is a decision. Therefore, we must come to know that our walking in the realm of the supernatural is a decision. How is the supernatural among us today and not ONLY in the kingdom to come [End Times]?
We walk in heavenly places: In Ephesians 2:6, Paul proclaims the truth of our life: “When we were dead in our transgressions, [He] made us alive together in Christ [by grace you have been saved], and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” This is a heaven/earth connection. Our eternal life began in the life of Christ. In knowing this, it is our place to walk as a supernatural people.
The Prophets Draw Us In: In Deuteronomy 18:18 the Lord spoke to Moses about how He would speak to His people: “I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.” The Lord speaks to us in supernatural terms, and He does it through His prophets. The Holy Spirit of all creation falls upon the prophet and brings a word from the Father that is filled with anointing and glory stemming from the throne of Christ. Supernatural power!
We have Legal Authority: The cross of Jesus Christ, the sacrifice of the Lamb of God, the empty tomb, and the sealing of the covenant promise by the Holy Spirit have given us the right to enter into the Promised Land. This is a supernatural event and give us an inheritance. “…He gave [us] the right to become sons of God, to those who believe in His name…” [John 1:12]. Being a child of the king gives you rights that cannot be taken from you. We were exiled from God because of Adam, but we are now restored because of Christ.
External Eyesight: God has given us the ability to be seers in the realm of the supernatural.
We have a Divine Partnership: In Galatians 2:20, the Apostle Paul tells us that we have been crucified with Christ and we no longer live. It is Jesus who live in us. In knowing this, it makes us partners with Christ in a greater purpose and greater glory. As He lives and moves so we live and move. Our life has become a place of divine ordination, and no one can take it from us. “And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise” [Galatians 3:29].
Prophets can see into the heavenly realm and through the anointing of the Holy Spirit encourage, exhort, and console the people of God that change is coming. It is coming to benefit them and to give them an everlasting victory over the wiles of the devil.
Seeing imparts vision—the Church must cast forth the vision of God into the world that souls may come to Christ [Rev. 15:1].
Seeing produces great and marvelous wonders—It opens our eyes to the true nature of God and the aspects of His kingdom [Rev. 15:1].
Seeing prophecies victory—the prophet declares the future events of our victory through Christ [Rev. 15:2].
Seeing produces an open heaven—The vision of the prophet proclaims “the tabernacle of testimony in heaven to be open” [Rev. 15:5].
Seeing proclaims God’s glory and power—the presence of God is a consistent dwelling place in the life of a prophet. The prophet who walks in this anointing declares His majestic glory and His absolute power [Rev. 15:8].
Seeing declares judgment—This is a two-fold anointing. In each scriptural declaration the judgment is just and true because it is from God who is holy and righteous in all things.
The first is judgment against the enemies of God who look to crush the church [Rev. 18:2; “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!”]
We can bring judgment into our situation in order to release God’s anointing and cause those who stand in accusation against us to flee. Bringing immediate judgment to our circumstances.
The second is judgment on the church because of their disobedience to God. Deuteronomy 30:15: “I have set before you today life and prosperity [good], and death and adversity [evil]; …but if you turn your hearts away and you will not obey but are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them, I declare to you today that you shall surely perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you are crossing [remaining at Mt. Sinai—the LAW] the Jordan to enter and possess it [Mt. Zion—The grace of Jesus Christ].
God sets a witness against us. “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live” [Deut. 30:19].
Break Your Limitation to Release Prophetic Influence
Prophecy is not just the ability to speak forth a future event and the details which will lead up to that event. It is much more than that. We are a prophetic people. Our God is a prophetic God and speaks to us through prophetic motivations using signs, wonders, and natural events. The superior gift is the office of prophecy.
“Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy…one who prophesies speaks to his descendants would not inherit the throne and God’s favor was men for edification, and exhortation, and consolation…one who prophesies edifies the church” 1 Corinthians 14:1, 3, 4. Paul tells us to ‘desire earnestly’ the prophetic gift. Why? As I search the Scriptures it is clear to me that God is a communicator. He desires to speak to His people and to His world. His heart is that no one should perish. Prophecy is His great gift of communication to the church and the world. Therefore, to want more of the knowledge, understanding, and aspects of the Father we must learn to accept, administer, and communicate prophecy. This requires activation!
“Now I wish that you all spoke in tongues, but even more that you would prophesy; and greater is one who prophesies than onewho speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may receive edifying” 1 Corinthians 14:5. Paul is stating a clear direction for the church in its services about prophecy. The underlying factor in 1 Corinthians14 is ‘Edification.’ Paul requires prophecy to edify, exhort, and console [the church]. So many 21st c. churches do not engage in this gift. They are relegated by religious and theological tradition to claim 1 Corinthians 14’s gift of prophecy antiquated and not for the modern day ‘ecclesia’ [church]. Their understanding is that the preaching of the word is all the prophecy they’ll need. An activation in this gift is required now more than ever. Preaching the word is good, needed, and certainly accepted. Teaching the Scriptures is good, needed, and certainly accepted. However, prophecy is the heart of God whose great desire it is to communicate with His church and the prophetic gift accomplishes that task.
God Activates the Prophetic Office
In Deuteronomy 18:18, the Lord activates the office of prophecy; “I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.” This entitlement to Israel was not without purpose. They were about to enter the Promised Land [Cana] where the Philistine, the Amorites, the Amalekites, the Canaanites, and many other gentile nations had settled. These factions of the gentile tribes in the Promised Land were doing despicable things in the sight of the Lord. He ordered Israel not to get caught up in the practices of the gentile nations; spiritism, witchcraft, divination, human sacrifice, interpretation of omens, and sorcery were just a few of the things the Lord proclaimed detestable in His sight. God would raises up a prophet from among them to give spiritual instruction from the Lord in accordance to the Law.
In all ministry activations it is always wise to find discipleship and get mentored into the anointing that God has placed in your ministry. In 1986 when the Lord began to release the prophetic mantle in my life, I sought a prophet with whom I could enter into ministry relationship. I sat under this anointed man for over 11 years. It was not that I did not prophesy to people at that time [I had already spoken into the lives of several politicians including a US Congressman and a standing US President], because I did use the gift as I fully understood it. However, the mentor I chose to sit under taught me when prophecy is warranted as immediate or when to act in God’s timing to release the word. The depth of this man of God’s anointing was exceedingly great and accurate. I had witnessed him use the gift of the word of knowledge with accuracy and detail. He would tell people their names, or the names of their family. He would tell people their telephone numbers or what they did before they arrived to our services. Some church leaders despised him for this gift while others embraced it. However, there were many days I witnessed him standing alone in the ministry having doors closed to him because of his gift and I learned the office of a prophet can be a lonely place.
He started two churches in the Northeast; Connecticut and New York City respectively. His followers are international and his meetings were always held in local hotels and arenas because so closed church doors. His anointing always drew a crowd at the services and God always showed up.
Those days where a time of discipleship and learning curves that gave me invaluable training into the prophetic ministry; “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” Matthew 28:20. This man I sat under was making disciples and training us in the gift of prophecy.
Activation requires Discipleship
Jesus had His twelve, Paul had his five, and Bible Schools all over the world have their disciples. If pastors are not training and equipping a group of disciples with verified gifting in their church’s they are violating the command of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20. Discipleship is not just a sermon on Sunday and a Bible study on a Wednesday night. It is pouring your life into the students that have chosen to sit under your ministry and desire God to use them in a greater capacity than just a seat on a Sunday morning.
In order to give discipleship a chance to flourish in your community, you have to create Bible Schools, set up leadership training programs, and create seminars that promote and teach the disciples with the gifts that God has given them having placed those disciples in your house. My counsel to saints who want discipleship and are not getting it where they are now fellowshipping or sitting under certain ministers of God is to leave that place and find one that will disciple them. Time is one commodity we can never recover. Once it is gone, it is gone!
The spirit of Jezebel kills Activation!
Activation cannot be accomplished sitting under a leadership who has a controlling spirit. Now before some of your heads explode, let me explain the fine line between a controlling spirit and the very biblical principle of submission to authority.
The spirit of Jezebel is a witchcraft spirit that promotes rebellion in the world and most definitely in the church. This demon takes direction from the fallen angel Lucifer [Satan]. They are directed by what Isaiah revealed about them in Isaiah 14:13-14, “I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mount of assembly[Jesus’ throne] in the recessed of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” Their MO [modus operandi] is chaos, self-centeredness, and rebellion. They are set on destruction, not only to discredit the cross of Christ and His gospel, but to disquiet the authority of the church and His people. They are subtle in their approach and they are experts on using church leadership to squash ministries under the guise of submission to authority [if you do not comply, you are rebellious].
Does the above statement mean that there are no rebellious saints only those who are kept down by Jezebel [controlling] authority? NOT AT ALL! There are those in the church who are rebellious for many reasons and the church leadership is wise to keep them in check. Paul did the same and even warned us about it (1 Corinthians 1:11-17). However, that does not negate the fact that many leaders use a subtle power of spiritual abuse to control their churches. See the comparisons;
Subject Jezebel spirit Discipleship Activation!
Prophecy in services “Tell me what it is before 1 Cor. 14:3, “one who prophesies
you say it”-leadership edifies the church.”
Manifestation of gifts “I will tell you if you can 1 Cor. 14:12, “of spiritual gifts use them.”-leadership seek to abound for…edification”
Marriage “All relationships are of Matt. 19:4, “I have made them

Ministry “If you don’t do what I’m Never fitting square pegs in

-leadership
Preaching “There is only one preacher “I have been called to preach!”
In this house!” -leadership. Matt. 28:19.
Outside Ministry “I am not happy with your “How can I help you fulfill
approach to ministry.” your calling?”
Some of the examples I used to describe a disciple sitting under a controlling spirit are vague and I understand that. My intention is to draw reference to the many Christians who are called of God yet are controlled without discipleship and never given an opportunity to fulfill their calling. They sit quietly because they do not want to face the spiritual giant of Jezebel, who has already been defeated at the cross, lest they be called rebellious. Some of you most likely have already faced this attack and you are not doing anything with your calling because you are unwilling to go through the pain of causing a possible split from some of your lifetime friendships in the church.
Consider the life of George Whitefield. He was opposed by the Anglican Church, not just in England, in America as well. Still he pursued his calling with vigor and reckless abandonment to the harm it would cost his reputation. For Rev. Whitefield it was about the salvation of souls. When churches rejected his ministry, he brought it to the fields outside the town. He formed an orphanage for young boys called Bethesda in Savannah, GA. He wrote articles of theology opposing those he disagreed with and distributed booklets of his own theological teachings. His opposition formed committees to depose him, similar to Paul being opposed by the Jews at every turn. However, God used Whitefield to usher in the great New England revival of 1740; the Great Awakening. Signs, wonders, and miracles followed Whitefield’s ministry and those who had come to Christ. Why was he so successful even in the hardships of opposition? Because his desire was for the souls of men to come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Whitefield was hungry for God and to see the Lord’s great commission to us fulfilled (Matt. 28:20); [“George Whitefield; God’s Anointed Servant in the Great Revival of the Eighteenth Century”, Arnold A. Dallimore, Crossway, Wheaton, ILL 60187, 1990].
“…before you were born, I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations”-Jeremiah 1:5.
The Scripture of Jeremiah 1:5 is a clear indication that God has a plan for our lives. He does not make strategies or give out anointing and gifting on a whim. He is calculated and strategic in His approach to the kingdom. Jeremiah was often in danger from political and religious leaders who were angry because of his messages.
Jeremiah’s prophetic warnings were pre-Babylonian exile (circa 626BC-586BC). When God activated his prophetic gift, Jeremiah set himself on a course to hear from God alone the things that would take place in the Spirit for the nation. He was always conscious of his calling in prophecy, and as such he proclaimed words that were spoken first by God Himself and were therefore certain of fulfillment. For Jeremiah, God was ultimate. His theology conceived of the Lord as the Creator of all that exists, as all-powerful and as everywhere present. At the same time, God is very much concerned about individual people and their accountability to Him.
Activation requires Accountability
“If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing;” 1 Timothy 6:3-4.
The one thing I teach in my school of prophecy is this; if you cannot sit under authority, you cannot have legitimate authority. If the activation of your gift contains strife and disharmony among men then you have fulfilled Paul’s words to Timothy. “…he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusivelanguage, evil suspicions, and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain” 1 Timothy 6:4-5. Now let me be clear about the writing of this and its meaning. I am not saying that having doctrinal differences concerning the practices and the biblical theologies of your system of belief make you a rebel. I am saying when your gifting is used for financial gain alone [a.k.a. the prosperity ministry], or you are promoting a gospel contrary to what you have read in the Scriptures [Gal. 1:8], or any teaching that denies the deity of Christ, His suffering, His death, and His resurrection then you are in danger of having a depraved mind and losing your salvation. I will go as far as to say, this will cause you to lose your salvation!
It is always best to sit under leaders you trust and who will mentor you. Allowing them to ordain your life and send you out into the mission field or a church plant is always a good course of action. Your activation of the prophetic gift or any spiritual gift should not be self-attaining or a self-aggrandizement of your calling. Anointed activation of your gift should be the recognized by the church.
Activation requires Godliness
Some will read this and say, “Of course, isn’t that a given!” I say to you, not always. In my 45 years of ministry I have counseled a good number of ministry leaders who had no business being where they are in the first place. Some leaders are self-appointed, some self-titled (titles are fine, but they should be borne witness by the church), and some have gained ministry through their father’s/mother’s will even when not called; it’s the family business. Fine, I hear the head’s exploding out there and I want to say some of these inherent ministries do witness a call of God on their children’s lives, no doubt. However, the fact remains that many do not and hundreds of once thriving churches have gone the way of the DODO bird because the desire to keep the church in the family was greater than the desire to allow God to make the decision concerning the next generation of leadership.
“An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money. He must manage his household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity (but if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?), and not a new convert, so that he will not become conceited and fall into the condemnation incurred by the devil. And he must have a good reputation with those outside the church, so that he will not fall into reproach and the snare of the devil” 1 Timothy 3:2-7.
I recently counseled an international ministry leader who was in his for third divorce. Taking an external look at his ministry life there would have been no doubt that he was a wonderful man of God and well respected by his ministry peers. He was the Apostolic overseer of over 10 international ministries, appeared on numerous Christian television programs, ministered on television with Rev. Benny Hinn and Dr. Mike Murdock, and Dr. Mike Brown, and was a well sought-after speaker and dozens of mega-church ministries around the United States. However, taking a closer look at his home life was a completely different story. He was abusive to every woman he was married to, in some cases, physical abuse but mostly mental cruelty. He was estranged from his children in most circumstances with an on/off relationship depending on his mood swings. He abounded in God’s gifts to him but was extremely lacking in the Fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22ff). He would go to counseling and then find fault with the counselor. Eventually refusing to seek counseling for his behavior completely. His mantra was an abuse of God’s word to those who would seek to correct him, “…touch not God’s anointed.” His abuse of power and authority in his personal life with those who loved him was wrapped in a false understanding of God’s word.
I am telling this story because it would seem the activation of his prophetic gift was alive and well in him without having any responsibility to authority, anointing, or Godliness. It seemed as though the Lord was not concerned with these things in his life. But nothing could be further from the truth. Jesus Christ paid the price for our sin at the cross. He gave us freedom. The freedom and liberty to make our own choices in life and in doing so the Lord still has us covered in the blood. In saying this, it is important to understand that the true gifting in the example I have given through this international evangelist has yet to be activated! He is operating in a shadow of his God-given anointing, as though the veil is still between him and the Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies.
He was given a prophetic word that he and his third wife were being given a new opportunity, all the past sin had been washed away and they were going to be one of the next power ministry couples in America. However, he began to set the stage of disaster immediately in his marriage. His uncontrolled anger began to destroy their intimacy and violate the sanctity of their marital relationship. He never dealt with his low self-esteem issues and let his past dictate his future.
Prophetic activation requires the need for us to become Christlike in our approach to ministry, ourselves, and life. Our given gift-potential can be limited or non-existent if we are unwilling to surrender completely our lives in all respects to Christ. “If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal” 1 Corinthians 13:1.
“If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing” 1 Corinthians 13:2.
Activation requires Love [agapeo]
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 are very specific in regards to Paul’s instruction about the ministry gifts. V3. “And if I gave all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.”
Our love must be founded in the Fruit of God’s Spirit
The fruit of a tree is not for the tree but for others. Therefore, this beautiful characteristic indicates the Christian’s attitude to those with whom he comes in contact. Two thoughts have been expressed in this particular virtue; (1) Trustworthiness. Jesus said to the two who multiplied their talents, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things” (Matthew 25:21,23). This suggests, the one who bears the fruit of the Spirit will keep their word with others. They will be faithful to His covenants, promises, duties, and obligations. The true Christian does not shirk responsibility. (2) Trustfulness. Paul plainly teaches that the characteristic of love “rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things” 1 Corinthians 13:6-7. In our laboring for the Lord and reaping in a great harvest for the kingdom, both trustworthiness and trustfulness are necessary virtues. A Christian can be neither unfaithful nor suspicious. The activation of our gift lies in this understanding; Love (agapeo) must be our only motivation!
Shifting the Heavens
Our prophetic understanding of the kingdom of God births heavenly shifters. Wherever a shifter walks the atmosphere shifts. Whatever they prophesy it comes to pass. The Lord is declaring a shift through the activation of prophetic gifts and anointing. We must shift with God. He is taking us to a different level in the spiritual realm. We must embrace this shift with our gift activation in order to reap the last harvest. He is raising up “shifters” in the midst of the church. He is declaring the wonderful day of the Lord. This is not just a generational shift; it is something we must discern in our everyday lives in order for us to cross over and possess our Promised Land. Many of us have been stuck and will burn out it we refuse to make the shifts God requires. Those of us who shift with the move of God will be exalted. Our shift will active our potential and stir the gift within us in the following ways;
Leadership—Elis will become Samuels, from Sauls to Davids (2 Samuel 1:5, 9-10).
Paradigms—Sheep to soldiers; lambs to lions.
Focus—Church minded to Kingdom minded.
Structure—Man’ order to God’s order (Eph. 2:20-22).
Heavenlies—The releasing of fresh anointing and the presence of His glory.
Wealth—From the unrighteous to the righteous.
Church Membership—The exodus from dead churches to Holy Spirit and fire temples.
Bringing Heaven to Earth
There is a Hanna generation arising! In 1 Samuel 1:9-12 the Scriptures tell us of the life of Hanna. A barren woman who sought the priest Eli for prayer in order to ask God to open her womb. In so doing, she vowed to dedicate her first-born to the Lord. The name of this child was Samuel, Israel’s first prophet. Eli’s prayer was honored and God opened her womb and she gave birth. This is the state in which we find ourselves in the church in this generation. There is a company of intercessors, a people of warfare, who are praying unlike they have ever prayed before in a Hanna anointing. They are entering realms of spiritual warfare, and many of the religious crowd do not mouths of those who are prayer warriors. However, we must keep praying for out of our mouths our prayers will give birth to a Samuel generation. Hanna’s persistence in prayer and petition before Eli caused her to go higher in the spirit realm. When God grants you access to go higher, you’ve got to remove the sackcloth and ashes and praise Him. Worshipping Him because of His promise!
All of this happened because Hanna prayed. She asked the Lord for a son, and her prayers gave birth to the prophet Samuel, who had an anointing to shift the heavens.
Activation through Intercession
One of the greatest and most precious offices to the Lord is that of the intercessor. Intercession is the I-beam that holds the building firm upon the foundation of the apostolic and prophetic anointing. It can be a church leader’s greatest asset if administered in proper fashion.
Intercession moves the heart of God toward our circumstances and situations. It leads us into deeper worship which causes UNITY to fill the house of God. When the house is in UNITY, God moves in our midst. He joins us in our praises. When we worship and UNITY overwhelms us, the Lord brings His anointing to bear upon us and His glory envelopes our inhabitance. When His glory is present heaven enters our situation and fills the house. The presence of heaven brings an anointing so magnified that all creation rejoices at the foot of the throne of our great King. In heaven, there is no sin; In heaven, there is only fullness of joy; in heaven, there is no pain; in heaven, there is no disease; in heaven, there is no death!
Intercessors are essential to the life of the church and the ministries it holds dear. These ministries thrive in the Lord because of the gift activation in the midst of its servants. Dead works, dead gifts! Living works, living gifts! A church Alive!
Explosive Power
God’s manifested glory brings an explosiveness to the ministry that He has entrusted to you. In 2007 I was ministering in a meeting in Savannah, GA. The leaders were just about to close the service when God showed up in the midst of our meeting. It was as if a blanket had been thrown on us and a quietness suddenly hit the sanctuary. The presence of the Lord was manifested in an anointing that began to touch the lives of the saints in attendance. We didn’t have to lay hands on anyone, we didn’t have to speak anything over anyone, and we didn’t have to say even one word. The Lord by His Spirit began to touch people in the congregation. His power was manifested not through any loud shouting, or any Holy Spirit dance, or even any worship music. It was through a quiet silence and an anticipation of His presence. When God enters a situation, things are stirred in the heavens and the whole of His creation comes alive! Healing occurred to the left of the sanctuary, a quiet admission of praise to the right, and all the congregation laid prostrate before Him in the auditorium. We were in His presence and it was the most glorious manifestation of Him inhabiting the praises of His people. “Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the Highest. Blessed is He who comes in the name of theLord.” I learned that night that the power of God’s glory is the still small voice manifesting Himself after the thunder, after the lightning, and after the cloud of glory. He exploded on the scene with His presence! We gave an attentive ear and watched as the King of glory moved over His people touching each one as the need was revealed in their lives; that night, cancer was cancelled, diabetes was healed, physical ailments were made well, and the eyesight of a two-year-old little girl was restored.
The gift in you does not need a trumpet sound, a drum roll, or any fanfare. It only requires stepping into the greatness of the magnitude in which God gave it to you in the first place. What separated Abraham from the rest of his brethren was his action to believe that God spoke a true word to him. He believed God and walked in that belief (see Romans 4:3). He put action to his prophetic word responding to God’s promise. Abraham was a forward thinker. He believed the word God gave him concerning walking in ‘the everlasting covenant’ (Gen. 17:7). This is the very covenant that we, the New Testament church, have entered into in this present age and the age to come. The covenant of Abraham has unfolded into the everlasting covenant of our Lord Jesus Christ. We walk in this promise (Gal. 3:29).
Our sufferings bring gift activation.
Activating our gift in Christ constitutes an action of grace. In 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 Paul contends with the Lord about his sufferings, “…there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Paul understood that in order for the power of God to exalt Christ’s gifts within him for the perfection of the gospel message and the salvation of souls he would rather glory in his infirmities (2 Cor. 12:9). It is important to remember that the word ‘infirmities’ in the New Testament Greek refers to a spiritual attack more than our present-day interpretation of a physical affliction. However, in Paul’s case it was both. Yet, Paul draws our attention to, “… a thorn in the flesh, a messenger sent from Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself!” (2 Cor.12:7).
Phases of Paul’s Thorn in the Flesh
Weakness of Ability—It was not Spiritual inability but rather an inability of his own accord. He was made to rely completely on the Spirit as a nation copes with more powerful forces in war.
Weakness of human nature—Paul used the weakness of his flesh to promote the gospel of Christ through his preaching (Gal. 4:13).
Weakness of human ability—Paul had to rely completely on the Spirit in his lack of ability to minster the gospel (1 Cor. 2:3).
Insults and Reproaches—Paul was shipwrecked several times and in the midst of these storms he had to endure many insults and reproaches. As in the days of Jonah, when storms endangered a ship the belief was that someone on the ship had been cursed endangering all who were with him (Acts 27:10).
Necessities—It was Paul’s contention that preaching the gospel was not so much a choice for him as it was a compelling to send forth the gospel message (1 Cor. 9:16).
Persecutions—Paul was destined to suffer for the sake of the gospel to give recompense to his past sins. However, his strength in Christ was his desire to right the wrongs he had committed and if suffering persecution was the order for him, he was not going to deter from the cause (Rom. 8:35).
Distress and Anguish—Paul suffered many things for the gospel of Christ. Yet, he stood firm in the belief that not any one thing could keep him from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39). These classes of sufferings constitute the buffeting of Paul by the angel of Satan which was his thorns.
We cannot ignore that our gifts are under attack daily by the spiritual forces of the devil. Children of God we are at war! If you proclaim Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are a soldier in the army of God and you are open to attack from spiritual forces when you are ministering the gospel. Make no mistake, we have the victory! However, if the forces of evil can convince us to engage in the process of the spiritual battle then they will gain a foothold into our lives. The most they are able to accomplish is an impish annoyance.
The more the gift is activated the greater the light.
We cannot speak of the light without engaging the ministry of Jesus Christ in the process. Remember just as the talents in Matt. 25 were the Lord’s so the gift activated in us is also the Lord’s. Therefore, any brilliance of light illuminated into a dark world is the light of the Lord (John 1:4-5). When our gifts are activated for the work of the gospel His light shines in the midst of that gifting. Our gift is displaying the life of Jesus Christ. In John 8:12 Jesus said, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of Life.”
Not unlike an electrical dimmer switch in your home, the more we become like Christ the brighter the light within. We have the control with a dimmer switch to either brighten the room or cause lesser light to function. We can even turn the power off completely and sit in darkness. It is the same in the Spirit of God. The Lord has given us free will to control the aspects of His presence in us. The more we become like Him by surrendering our will to the Spirit of God, the more we display the fruit of Christ (Gal. 5:22) in our lives. The rule of the flesh in our lives is complete darkness and displays only evil in all aspects of its miserable existence. However, when we come to Christ, it is no longer we who live but He lives in us (Gal. 2:20). We are dead to our trespasses and the ability is within us to allow Christ to live and reign (Romans 6:11-13).
The Light within us is the Incarnate Word of God; Jesus Christ. The testimony of Jesus was the Spirit of fulfilled prophecy. Our gift has given to us the Spirit of Inspiration, realizing the day of Jesus and declaring to men that His glory dwells within us. He is ‘The Everlasting Covenant’ and this covenant dwells in the hearts of all believers. In Revelation 21:23, He is proclaimed the lamp of God’s glory and any light we carry because of God’s glory resting in us is but an archetypal light of which all other lights are types and illustrations. Nonetheless, the light of God in our gift is made manifest in greater power and greater glory by our surrender to Him in all aspects of our life. If our gift were a lamp to light a room, what good would that lamp be to anyone without the electrical power to ignite its purpose. It is the same with our Spiritual gift. If we do not allow the glory of God through His Holy Spirit to spark the gift (activation) in our lives to what end have we allowed God to use us? We are of no use to Him. However, if we allow the illumination of the Incarnate God set forth His Spirit in our gift (the gift He has loaned us), the Light within us will tell the world of His goodness and the testimony of His Son, our salvation.
Activations have training manuals.
Only an unwise man would set out to build a home without consulting a master builder. Even carpenters set themselves under the direction of the general contractor. Paul did not commission Timothy or Titus to the work of the ministry without a proper period of training and mentoring.
In order for your gift to manifest itself in the power of God you must come under authority and allow that authority to mentor you in the foundations of your gifting. In 1986 when the prophetic mantle began to activate in my life, I sought a prophet to sit under and learn of the uses and misuses of the gifting. It was not an easy road! Nor should it be. God had to pull at me and stretch me in greater anointing. I had to learn how to recognize when He was moving and respond accordingly.
There is a danger in allowing your gift to flow without a covering. You will more likely end up with the misuse of the gift operating in your ministry. This could result in harming those you had intended to bless.
Prophetic Activation is Inherent
In 2 Kings 2:4-14, Elijah is being taken to heaven by ‘the chariots of fire and its horsemen.’ A protégé of Elijah’s, Elisha, was refusing to remain across the River Jordan but instead insisted he remain with Elijah. The horsemen appear and Elisha requests that he be given a double portion of Elijah’s anointing. Elijah’s tells him he requested a difficult thing but if his mantle falls to him it shall be as he asks.
The mantle represents the prophetic power, authority, and anointing that was given to Elijah in manifesting God’s presence in Israel. It was always the Lord’s intention to keep the mantle with His prophets until the days of the Messiah (Jesus Christ). When the Messiah’s ministry on the earth was to end the Lord would send us His Holy Spirit (the day of Pentecost; Acts 2). Elisha received the inherent power of the prophetic office when Elijah was carried away and his mantle fell upon him.
All through the history of the church in both the Old and New Testaments the office of the Prophet was to remain active. Our gifts are prophetically activated through the day of the Second Advent. They are a witness to the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ and the redemption of man.
The prophetic activation of the gifts in your life do not end with you. They are inherent blessings to be passed on to your children and your children’s children from generation to generation. Our concentration in dealing with the issues of life at times will turn to generational curses and how to deal with them through the blood of Christ. Are you not aware that there are generational blessings the Lord has placed in you even more so, since the foundation of the earth [Jeremiah 1:5]? You must walk and operate in the understanding that you are a Covenant people sealed in the promise of the Holy Spirit.
In Ezekiel 35:10, “Because you have said, ‘These two nations and these two lands will be mine, and we will possess them,’ although the Lord was there.”
When we are considering the aspects of the spirit of Jezebel we are immediately drawn to the obvious manifestations of the character of this evil; control, matriarchal imbalance, and a lording over us. However, we need to have a deeper spiritual study into the eternal nature of this demon. The spiritual truth behind the manifestations of this demon is to rob the Christian of their God-given, Jesus sacrificed, and Holy Spirit sanctified birthright.
This at the outset is Ezekiel’s prophecy to Seir [also known as Edom]. Edom is a spiritual type of the kingdom of Satan. His reign over the life of Esau brought about the destruction of the Edomites who for generations have stood against the nation of Israel [therefore, the Church of God] even though Jacob and Esau forgave each other.
Edom, also known as Seir, stands against God’s people throughout eternity. Their desire is to reap the birthright of Jacob by destroying the church by any means necessary. In Ezekiel’s prophecy they have declared the two lands theirs. What are these two lands?
The Land of Israel [God’s Promised Land] and the Kingdom of God We need to have spiritual eyes to understand this declaration of scripture. We know one to be the land of Israel but the other is the sworn proclamation made by Satan in Isaiah 14:14, “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High.”
The devil is giving sworn testimony to his intentions to rule and reign in the heavens. The two lands that possess the sole authority of the birthright of Israel [Jacob] through the work of the cross of Jesus Christ: Israel and God’s kingdom. Most theologians will tell you that these lands are Israel and Seir [Edom]. However, the scriptures have a duality of purpose in the writings. The Hebrew text shows two meanings, one in the temporal and the other in the spirit.
God’s chosen nation of Israel has been and always will be until the Second Advent the subject of ridicule, threats of being overthrown, and the determined goal of the world to destroy God’s people. The prophets prophesied about it even to this day and they predict the times of destruction, ruin, and exile. However, the probability of Israel’s overthrow has everything to do with their obedience or disobedience to the Word of God. “But it shall come about, if you do not obey the Lord your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes with which I charge you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:
• Cursed shall you be in the city, • And cursed shall you be in the country [nowhere to hide]. • Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl [famine]. • Cursed shall be the offspring of your body [barrenness and persecution to those living] and the produce of your ground, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock [agricultural and equine upheaval]. • Cursed shall you be when you come in [even in Israel’s return from exile], • Cursed shall you be when you go out [no other country to hide in].” Deuteronomy 28:15-19.
These curses listed are inspirational reasons for the spirit of Jezebel to permeate God’s nation and destroy His people. Sin produces destruction and death. If this demon can entice the nation, the church, indeed the individual Christian to walk in this way then she has won a great victory in keeping us from being an overcomer and conqueror. A defeated enemy, the work already done at the Cross, and sealed victory in the Holy Spirit all there for the taking except for our inability to walk in its power but rather we engage in the petty bitterness of the vile poison brought to us by the deception of a Jezebel. An attempt to steal our birthright or at the least render it useless.
The other aspect of the two-fold meaning behind the scriptures concerning Seir and Israel is Mt. Seir. It is no coincidence that a mountain is the subject of this evil spirit. Mountains represent majesty and power. The kingdom of Seir [Edom] had its eyes turned against the nation of Israel. It planned to establish its own kingdom in direct opposition to the kingdom of God [Ezekiel 35:2]. The attempt to steal the birthright of the nation of Israel [the Church] is explicitly laid out before us in Ezekiel 36:5, “Surely inthe fire of My jealousy I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, who appropriated My land for themselves as a possession with wholehearted joy and with scorn of soul, to drive it out for a prey.”
Jezebel seeks to take possession of the soul and everything that she can lay her hands upon. She did it when Naboth’s vineyard [1 Kings 21:11-16] was unattainable. She put a plan in place to rob him of his inheritance.
In the progressive history of mankind her tactics have not changed. She seeks to take possession of the inheritance the Lord has given to you. At times, it will be a slow process taking piece by piece and part by part until you have realized that your gifting, your ministry, and your Christian walk has been compromised with the deception of Jezebel.
In the Gospel of John 9, Jesus heals a man who was born blind. It is His way of revealing that He is the Light of the world, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life” John 8:12. This discourse was followed by that healing outside the temple gate. It was an exclamation point on His office as the Son of Man and the reason for which He came into the world.
As in every aspect of Christ’s ministry, the Pharisees were watching and seeking to trap Him. Their purpose was plain, to catch Him breaking the Law of Moses and to discredit the reason He came among them in the first place. In every instance of Christ’s performance of miracles, the Pharisees were at bay. They sought to preserve the old ways of Judaism. A time when they were in charge and anyone who wanted ministry had to come before them for acceptance and theological approval in the name of authority. Should anyone defy this, they faced persecution, accusation, and being put out of their temple and synagogues. They would be shunned under the Pharisees’ interpretation of the Law. In doing this, they denied the man was even blind [9:18] and began an investigation.
In v18-22, we find that the parents of the man were summoned before the Sanhedrin to answer for their son’s condition. In the questioning, the parents denied knowing who had opened their son’s eyes for fear they would be put out of the synagogue [v22]. They insisted the Pharisees question their son since he was of age. The Pharisees fixation was so focused on the determination of proving Jesus to be a fraud that they would go to any lengths to have their way even if it meant doing it in the name of Jehovah.
The man born blind who had now been healed began to tell them [v30-33] that if He were not from God He could not have healed him. So why do they ask where He came from? With this response they reviled him claiming him to be a sinner when they were the righteous ones [v34].
The prevailing attitude toward Christ in relation to the Pharisees was a constant barrage of attacks and challenges. They were trying to trap Him based on their own interpretation of the Law. They created an atmosphere of legality that was too heavy a burden for the Jewish people. Jesus came to set them free from that and give them Life in the Spirit. Jesus obeyed the instructions of the Law as set forth in the Torah and the Prophets. He did not necessarily adhere to the Scribes and Pharisees interpretation of it but rather He brought correction to those misguided interpretations. This is what caused the friction with the Jews.
It did not matter to them that men were being set free from their afflictions, it only mattered that the Sabbath Day in their thinking was being violated. This is the condition of the New Testament church today throughout America. We seek revival and clamor for His miracles questioning Him as to when. His answer is the same, “I am waiting for you.” The Pharisees stood as the watchmen of the Law of Moses. They would not open their eyes to anything that would bring about the Messianic move of God outside of their interpretation of it. Jesus did not fit their agenda or their theological understanding. They were so fixed on the Law that any blind eyes opened, raisings from the dead, lame cripples walking, or sick servants being healed, if performed on the Sabbath Day was a violation of the Law. In their minds the Messiah would not violate the Sabbath Day. What they hardened their hearts too, was that Jesus never broke the Sabbath Law. The hardness of their hearts because of their misguided understanding blinded their eyes to Jesus as the Messiah. Many churches are doing the same thing today to outside ministries! They reject the work of God in the traveling ministry because it does not fit their understanding of the work of God. They have set Pharisees with the title of watchmen among their brethren to keep watch and control their behavior by any means necessary. It usually comes in a rebuke and discrediting of the work that is being done. Quickly running to the leadership of the church that seeks to discredit those who are doing God’s legitimate work. Saints beware, the Pharisees walk among you!
Many churches today have blinded their eyes to the work of God in their regions. They are self-centered in their understanding of their church and their ministry “having a form of godliness although they denied its power” 2 Timothy 3:5.
In recent days, the Lord began to impress upon me the vision I had as follows:
The Lord showed me a well-finished dresser in His Father’s house. In that dresser was a white robe made of the finest linen in the kingdom. The robe was for the occasion of service to the king and was to be worn for just those occasions. When it came time for the robe to be worn and presented before the king, the servant of the king went to the dresser to prepare the robe. And when he opened the drawer to his surprise moths flew out in different directions. On these moths were written the titles of Gal. 5:19-21; “sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, and carousings” Within those titles were sub-plots and sub-titles such as gossip, hatred, back-biting, controlling attitudes, disrespect, and murder, not only of reputations but of life. To the servant’s alarm, he picked up the garment and noticed that what was once a beautiful white linen robe was now tattered, eaten by the moths, having holes all throughout the material. He had nothing else to wear in having to present himself to the king. All he could do was to wear the tattered robe and come before the king in humility. When the king saw him coming, he said to him, “Did I not give you a well-finished dresser to keep the garment I entrusted to you in my Father’s house? Yet, you appear before me in a tattered cloth!” The servant was asked to give an account as to why the robe was tattered. He said to the king, “I am not aware of how this happened. I kept the cloth in a safe environment and only placed it on me for this special occasion.” The king asked him why he never checked the dresser to keep the condition of the garment safe and without disrepair. He asked him why he never let the laborers of the house maintain the condition of the garment or to check for any pestilence that might harm the condition of the cloth. He questioned him and said, “Did I not send these laborers to you to make sure the cloth remained in a fine condition? Yet, you refused to let them check the cloth and you refused to take their advice on how to keep the condition of that cloth in the finest of condition.” “They reported to me, said the king, that you also put them outside of the house claiming your method of conditioning was good enough to keep the integrity of the cloth. You also criticized and dishonored them believing them to be against you in their understanding about maintaining the integrity of the fabric.” The king continued, “Are you aware that today I was giving your house the highest honor in my kingdom but now how am I to present you in this condition? Therefore, I am giving this honor to another.” Go from me said the king and purchase new linen and make for yourself a new robe cleansing your dresser of all pestilence lest this happen again. Then come and present yourself to me.
The Pharisees wear tattered cloths believing them to be robes of righteousness, but they are filled with every form of evil and in that they have deceived themselves into believing something they should be but, are not. Saints beware, the Pharisees walk among you!
“And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His Tabernacle, that is, those who tabernacle in heaven” Revelation 13:6.
Throughout the book of Revelation, John describes the Antichrist [the enemy of the church] as a counterfeit trinity. In his view, it is an unholy alliance with the dragon [Satan], the beast [the state], and the false prophet [its leader]. They collectively wage war on the people of God after the dragon is cast from heaven [described in Rev. 12-13]. This Antichrist figure is a false Christ who copies Jesus’ redemptive work by manifesting his own death, resurrection, and return. This work opposes the city of God [the New Jerusalem], even now coming down out of heaven, the beast will seduce the harlot-city of Babylon and proclaim in the “city of man.” The beast’s number is, 666, is the number of men, indicating that the beast can never enter God’s rest nor rise to deity [G. K. Beale, The Book of Revelation, New International Greek Testament Commentary (Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, 1999), 690ff.
“It is vital to notice that these events take place against the backdrop of very familiar events in the Old Testament. The moment Adam fell into sin, God promised to save the fallen race through the seed (descendant) of the woman, who would in turn crush the head of the serpent, even as his own heel was bruised (Gen. 3:15).” [Kim Riddlebarger, A Case for Amillennialism; Understanding the End Times, (Baker Books, Grand Rapids: 2013), 147ff.
The Genesis 3:15 Prophecy
I recently had the occasion to interview Rabbi Jason Sobel on Christian radio in Kentucky. Our discussion centered around the meaning of Genesis 3:15. He enlightened me to the reasons for Jesus’ feet were nailed to the cross centering around this scripture. The nailed feet symbolize the bruised heel, and the action of the cross crushed the head of the serpent [head representing authority]. The Antichrist used the Roman Empire to crucify Christ and unwittingly nail His feet to the cross believing if they did that then Jesus would never have been able to crush his head. However, we know Christ’s crucifixion took place that the enemy [Antichrist] would be defeated for all eternity. Praise be to God!
The scripture of Gen. 3:15 immediately set into motion the subsequent course of redemptive history. This promise unrolled the conflict between the Messiah and His chief opponent [an antichrist figure]. In Gen. 4, we read the city of man’s first builder was Cain, followed by Lamech, Nimrod, and then a host of other self-deified messianic imposters. Redemptive history is filled with antichrist empires that arise to wage war on the people of God. Pharoah, Nebuchadnezzar, the Roman Emperors [Nero, Domitian], and many others have persecuted the church and set themselves in positions of declared gods [Isa. 14:13-14]. These actions are the fulfillment of Lucifer’s decree in heaven as prophesied by Isaiah 14. If we study it closely, we can see that redemptive history, the city of Babel on the plains of Shinar [Gen. 11] comes to full fruition in Revelation 18 in the form of Babylon the Great only to meet its downfall at the time of the end in but a single hour [Rev. 18:17] (cf. Americans sit at the center of the move of the Antichrist spirit
Consider all the things that are under attack in the United States today. These are the actions of the Antichrist to raise up the state [beast] and give it power to control the church. The Covid-19 Pandemic, the questionable election of Joe Biden, the shutting down of church worship services, the unprecedented move toward Communist ideals and socialism, the recent comments of a British monarch about our First Amendment rights as Americans [the very issue we went to war with Britain in the 1700’s], the battle over commerce denying Christians the right to buy and sell goods based on their beliefs and refusal to pay homage to the state sanctioned agenda of the LGBTQ lobby [Jack Phillips v. the State of Colorado] are all strategies to breakdown the last bastion of a democratic-republic in the world. If the Antichrist can succeed in tearing away at the US Constitution, the greatest document of liberty and freedom next to the Scriptures ever written, then it will make way for a state sanctioned home rule. The persecution of the church will increase and become a blood bath. The world will be wide-open for a one-world government and state rule. America stands in his way!
The state will first sanction restrictions in the name of national security. They will sidestep the Constitutional process of law and invoke Presidential resolutions without the need for Congress. The CDC [Center for Disease Control] has already placed restrictions on the citizens of the United States without due process of law and without the US Congress’ vote to do so. This alone has removed our Constitutional right to representation. There is nothing new being done in this country that the antichrist has not already done in the course of redemptive history in Rome, Egypt, or Babylon.
We must remember that the supreme offense to these processes and the beast [state] is the Christian confession of Jesus Christ as Lord. The state craves the worship of its subjects. Whenever Christians refuse to pay homage to the state and its leader (s), God’s people [the church] will pay the price. Some will pay with their lives, “Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation…” Revelation 2:10. The beast is relentless in pursuit of those who will not worship him or his image. His goal is to kill those that defy him.
We are already reading about secret lists of citizens gathered by the state, “AOC [Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY] gets her online list of everyone who helped & voted for Trump” by M. Dowling, Nov. 9, 2020, the Independent Sentinel. “When we hang the capitalists they will sell us the rope we use” Joseph Stalin. “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future?” US Representative Alexandra Ocasio-Ortiz, D-NY. Nero blamed the Christians for burning Rome, the Romans spread rumors that Christians drink the blood and eat the flesh of their followers, the kings of Europe put Christians to death for their beliefs in Christ, the Communists imprison pastors for preaching the Gospel, the Muslims call the Christians infidels and put them to death, and most recently, street evangelists are being persecuted, arrested, and imprisoned in England of all places for preaching openly against sin.
The Destruction of Judeo-Christian Education and Values
Our educational systems have been under this antichrist spirit for over a generation in America. Just recently a third grader was asked to remove her [Covid-19] mandated mask because it bore the inscription “Jesus loves Me” on it [https://nypost.com/2020/11/05/third-graders, by Jackie Solo] This happened in the state of Mississippi the heart of the Bible-belt of all places! Gender identity movements, transgender athletes competing with our daughters, motherhood now being called ‘birthing people,’ the Bible removed from the classroom, prayer in schools now unconstitutional, the woke culture, and every form of evil to tear away at our Judeo-Christian values [cf. Romans 1:24; Same-sex marriages, sex change operations]. His strategy has been to place an apathetic spirit on the nation and in the hearts of the people of God rendering our values without substance because of our inaction caused by his deception.
The Antichrist’s Final Strategy
Pharoah, Nero, Domitian, Nebuchadnezzar, and Titus pale by comparison to what has been unleashed on the church today. This antichrist spirit has just begun to implement his strategy to destroy America. The final manifestation of the Antichrist is a state-enforced heresy, the worship of the state and its leader, and is connected to a time of great apostacy [2 Thes. 2:3; Rev. 20:7-10].
In all, the end will come when we least expect it. When Jesus does appear again, He comes to take home His bride, to judge the world, and to put an end to all evil while casting the Antichrist, the beast, and his prophet into the lake of fire along with all unrighteous people, and the fallen angels. “Come, Lord Jesus” [Rev. 21:20].
